TEOSYAL® RHA® 1 is a viscoelastic gel of both cross-linked and non-crosslinked hyaluronic acid of non-animal origin. The gel is sterile, non-pyrogenic, transparent and contains 0.3% lidocaine hydrochloride, for its anaesthetic properties. Each box contains two syringed prefilled with TEOSYAL® RHA 1. The purposes of TEOSYAL® products are to modify the anatomy of aged skin, restore volume, fill skin depressions and wrinkles and restore skin hydration. It can also be used in reconstructive surgery, for filling depressions due to scars, and for the reconstruction of volume lost by lipoatrophy. TEOSYAL® RHA® 1 implant is indicated for the even filling of lines, superficial wrinkles, fine wrinkles and skin cracks, and for the correction of areas of skin that are wizened or marked by signs of ageing on the face, neck and neckline. It is also designed for filling wrinkles and skin folds (including circles under the eyes).

Characteristics

TEOSYAL® RHA® 1 is a biodegradable implant that is progressively reabsorbed over time. The specific viscoelastic properties can create volume, adapting evenly and uniformly to the skin’s natural contours to correct loss of density in areas that are wizened or marked by the signs of ageing, and fill lines and wrinkles. The non-modified hyaluronic acid in TEOSYAL® RHA® 1 is diffused into the skin tissue as the implant is reabsorbed. This characteristic ensures that an optimal level of dermal hydration is maintained and leads to a long-lasting improvement in the skin’s elasticity. Depending on the corrections to be made and the results sought, one or more treatment sessions may be necessary to obtain an optimal result.
